EMBRACING DIVINE CALLINGS BEYOND THE PULPIT
At the CampusVibe event hosted by Christian Life Ministries, Prince Mshindi addressed nearly 900 young attendees, discussing how to bring about community transformation as Christians. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of Christians participating in creating positive media, including music, movies, podcasts, and more. He noted that much of today’s entertainment doesn’t reflect Christian values, leading young people into destructive behaviors like drug use, homosexuality, and alcohol abuse.
Mshindi emphasized the need to look at examples from the Bible, where individuals like David, a king, Abraham, a businessman, and Daniel, a judge, played crucial roles in transforming nations. He lamented that the church seems to solely focus on ministry as preaching, which hinders societal transformation. Furthermore, Mshindi encouraged attendees to view areas like business, sports, music, and others as opportunities for mission work. He emphasized that Christians can make a significant impact in these spheres, contributing to positive change in society. His speech urged Christian youth to expand their influence beyond the church walls, recognizing their role in positively shaping society through various avenues of mission work.
